Watch your step southern boys the copperheads aren't like'n this heat anymore than we are evidently. I ran over 2 just getting to my hunting spot and then killed another one "hunting". It was laying in the logging road and coiled up as soon as the light hit it. He was pissed off from the word go. I had a pup with me that rushed it but I got it's attention with my boot before it could nail her. Fun watching them thinks strike at ya. Anyways, I killed it and gave her an educational scolding with it and by the time I carried it to the truck (bout a mile and a half) she would run from it when I would throw it down.
