where are you located, I'm in montana and might take 1 or 2 , but would prefer the owner to be close so they can go out with the dog and see it work.

I used Jim a number of years back. I had two pups I needed trained and I busted my leg, so rather than have them miss their first season, I had a buddy drive those 8 month pups up to Jim's place and he got them started. He hunts all the time and knows where the cats are. He's all business and "no nonsense". I have since hunted with him in NW Montana and I liked him, and I don't like many people. He's not some cheap ass who starves your dogs and my dogs came back in good shape and fit. He roads his hounds and will teach your hound to do that and heel behind him. He's honest and won't lie to you. He'd consider it dishorable and a sin if he did. He really knows both hounds and lions (I'm out of state so we didn't run bobcats). He's got good "check" dogs that are not only broke but heavier-headed and colder-nosed (Cameron's)!so they'll be able to check your young dog when they open. If you got colder-nosed hounds (mine were half Gascon), you don't want a guy with hot-nosed check dogs or ones too young and not fully broke.
