Arizona Late Season Bull

Postby tman308 » Thu Dec 04, 2008 12:41 pm

I shot this bull on the 5th day of a 7 day hunt at 2pm. He had just got up out of his bed and was feeding up the hill.

Thanks for looking

Nice bull! Looks like he was a fighter, he's got several inches broke off.

Hey there, good job on a nice bull. What unit were ya in? I'll have to wait for next fall for mine. I've been saving up and buying bonus point for elk. I like the area south of I-40 by the crater. Loads of elk if the weather is right. When's the B'Bq. I'll bring my own :beer

Thanks everyone.

Zach,

This was last year in November in 19a. I canned most the meat since it was so darn tuff. It turned out real good though for BBQ Elk Sandwiches, and fajitas.

nice bull. The whites also always have huge elk but it starts snowing there in october. So did you get this guy by granite mountain or mingus mountain. That is a big elk for that area also.
