help with dog box

i am in the process of looking for any info on specs of dog box and pics i want to run 3 dogs need to know genral size and amount of ventalation i live in bakersfield temps range from 30 in winter to 105 in summer just getting into hunting dogs dont want to end up with dead dogs is it good to insalate a box? i know that summer month here have had their toll on my cattle dogs that had free range in the bed of the pick up any info will help

a 4'x4' box is perfect size for up to 4 dogs. A box 2'x6' that sits on the bedrails or behind the rear window wis perfect for 3 dogs. All my boxes are 22-24" high. Well ventilated with rig holes for hot days and painted a light color so as not to absorb heat.

Keep in mind that it is much easier to kill a dog with heat, than to freeze him to death.

so really you cant go wrong with big and lots of vents as long as you can open and close them
