Sierra Pacific
I would like all the hunters to tell me what they think of this company.

Re: Sierra Pacific
Sierra Pacific is the largest private land owner in California. A few years ago my girlfriends's stepdad's hounds crossed into SP property from adjacent national forest property. A SP forester intercepted one of the dogs and disabled the tracking collar. My girlfriend's stepdad has hunted for over fifty years, he's now seventy. He was in hot pursuit of the dog on foot once it crossed into SP lands. The resulting confrontation was unpleasant with minor legal issues for all involved. The company as a whole seems to have decent policies on sustainibility but has a near monopoly on timber in CA. Take it for what it's worth, we still haven't been able to teach the dogs to read
