That video really hit the nail on the head at the 4:49 minute mark. We've been blinded by greed, most all of us by greed in one way or another in the past 20 years. Always having to get the latest toy, gotta keep up with the jones's ya know. All the while the people WE elect and continue to elect pad their pockets and yield to special(their) interest.

While we the people blinded by the greed, ignore their activity, and continue to consume crap. Weather it be watching the newest fall sitcom or buying crap we don't need and shouldn't be buying on a credit card. They have been playing us like a flute. We got so greedy, we spent money we didn't have, overextended, and sacrificed what could have been, a more prosperous time in America. Not more prosperous as you would think in the normal sense, money, but in the sense that in our insatiable thirst for crap we don't need we gave up our families, our free time, and ourselves. What the HELL were we thinking. WE all need to work less, spend more time with family and have a little time to think. To think about what policies we like and don't. A little more time would allow us to understand what is going on so that we could actively participate in what our government does. We need to elect people that will follow the restrictions placed upon them by the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

It's not about abortion, or flag burning, it's time to get past all of the issues that our elected officials use to pacify the sheep so that they don't have to address the real issues. So they can continue to pad their pockets while the sheep are being pacified by abortion rights rhetoric and American Idol.

I don't feel that we as a people an allow this to continue. We've got to start talking to people. Especially the ones with different viewpoints. Print out fliers, get dialog going and and put the BS behind us and form a more perfect union. Maybe i'm just a wet behind the ear 30 year old, but i'll be damned if I don't try to make this a little better for my kids, and theirs.

Tea bagging probably won't do much, but attending one of the many rallies planned for April 15th might be a start. Next time you vote see if you can look past Republican and Democrat parties and look at them for what they are. THE SAME!!! Vote Libertarian, you can't do any worse.
