I was selected to Idaho statewide and I wonder if anyone of you that see bear is out or sign of bear around in Idaho. Before I pack and head out just to check with you people if you guys know a good place. Sent me pm.

I havent personaly been out yet but I am hearing form the other local houndsmen that the bears are out even though there is still a lot of snow.There are still a lot of roads closed because of the snow.I dont know of any good spots to go right now, anything much over 5000 feet is still snowy, and is even still getting snow from time to time.I will be going out in the next weekend or two regardless. The dogs are getting too excited! If you get out before I do let me know how you did!

Hey Glen, Thanks for your infos. Thats what two guys I talked with that still have lot of snow. I believe before memorie weekend would be BLAST time. We will see.. Yes will let u know.

Hey I just wonder if I am Daiblity (deaf) with special permit can ask up to one more doghandler and a person? Because I cant hear my dogs barking in distance but I heard that I am allowed to have one more handler dogger. I will find out with Id Dept tomorrow. If its all Legally then would be so cool to have one more person to go with from anyone in Idaho. We will see..

FYI. about road blocked by snow, I was in Idaho Unit 4. Had GREAT TIME. Like Glen said about snow he was right. Dang but I need get going work with dogs anyway. There is a Plently Snow almost two foot on road block way VERY VERY top before cross to unit 4 Everyone could have made it thur whole area but Problem is one spot where u reach cross at the point of BIG Curve road with shade ONLY one area that Sun cant Reach to snow at almost TOP between Unit three toward to Unit four. I had to turn back down to go circle other side of mountain enter Unit four. Great experience. I thank people for help me out telling me where good place to hunt. Gotta check new places..

Definely will go again. Hopefully catch something soon!
