Fleas, Ticks, Flies, and Mosquitoes

I'm looking for some home remedies to help control Fleas, Ticks, Flies, and Mosquitoes. I know everyone has there own way to deal with them just looking for some I might have over looked. Thanks guys. Chris

dont know about flies and mosquitos but this stuff wipes out a flea population. i dont use monthly applications any more, if they dont have them, no need to put anything in their bodies as far as im concerned. put this stuff on every dog you have if you have a flea problem and it will eradicate them. if you have them bad, you might have to apply again, one month from the first application, but after that, unless you drag in another loaded with fles, you should be good.
then use only as needed.

I use K9 atvantix every three weeks for tics and it works for the most part but it takes a little while for the tics to die, so i usually have tics all over my house! What i also do because the tics are sooooo bad is that the K9 atvantix,doesnt keep the tics from going on the dog just when they start to suck is when they die from it, so i get the realy good good bugspray,deep woods.and i just soak it on my dog, On her back under her neck her ears ect. and that realy helps. Also i try to do mmore hunting in the rain because for the most part the tics arn't as bad. Hope that helps a bit. Happy huntin,Jon McMillan

I use the horse spray for flying insects. I just spray down the legs and other areas and use a cloth to apply to face and ears. There are several brands out there but I have been using the citronella based one for several years.
