The Sis dog he has he bought from me. She was a year and a half old when he bought her and was running and treeing good. She had been on ten lions, four bobcats, and some coon. I owned her grandmother until she died this spring and still own her mother and a littermate brother to her. All are nice dogs that consistantly catch game. I have never hunted with his other dogs but he hunts hard and catches game with them.

Are they known for pruducing decent dogs? You mentioned having litter mates to his dam. How many in that litter? How many turned out. You know her parents well?

So far the crosses I've made have worked well. I made the cross that Sis was out of three times and I've never had a complaint on any of the pups. My best dog is a littermate to the female that went to Washington. There were only three pups in that litter the other one was treeing barn cats at eleven weeks old but she was run over and killed. I owned her grandmother until her death and still own her mother, both solid hounds that were raised and trained here. My buddy owned her grandfather and still owns her father, both are top hounds. Our dogs are mostly T-top bred and that line consistantly produces top hounds for coon and big game all across the country. Most are good enough to win in competition hunts, look good enough to win a few shows, and make above average big game hounds. I bought a female pup out of Virginia that is two now out of Gr.Nt.Ch. Sandy Creek Jake x Nt.Ch.Gr.Ch. Lexus(Rat x Raven). She is making a nice hound and will be bred to my Billy dog. Billy is the littermate to the dog in Washington. This should be an excellent cross and I'll keep one or two for myself. Hope I answered your questions - Kevin
