We opened today, I had a nice strike, and put down my Timber dog and Maple who I just got from Jason, and they had the bear tree way before the other dogs caught up to them. It was a rough walk for us out of shape fellers, but we got to the tree. It was a really nice one, the kind you want to tree. I would say 400 plus. My camera was dead, so Kevin took some pictures. They did not come out too good, but are good enough. Were all set for another day tomorrow. ;D
Way to get the season rolling, Greg. Looks like a good bear , to bad about thee pictures. We are like hounds, as the season rolls along we should get better at remembering the small things. If not I gueass we are just culls.

Timber and Bear had this bear treed, after all the other dogs fell out. They ran him all morning, and finally got him up. It was the hottest day out this year so far.
