I got two walker males and my friend got a walker famale from Hershal, they where all four months old and guaranteed....... the dogs where about 45# when they showed up,(a little big i thought) for four months. they where covered in tickes and as skedish as coyotes. i pulled all the tickes and feed them for two weeks the dogs where so bad that the kids couldnt even play with them. i called Hershal and asked for our money back. he wouldnt give us cash but would trade for different pups.... we got them in june and he said in oct. he would come out and replace them. then it was nov. then it was dec. then jan. and no hershal. i started calling around and found out that the litters i got papers for all died of parvo.. and that they were just sh.. he threw together... and added dead dogs papers. so if you all ever think of buying dogs form Hershal shoot me a pm and i will tell you more. the sh.. gets deeper.

That one of the tricks dog jocks use. (Not saying That Mr Joyner is a dog jock never had any dealings with the gentlemen) They keep the papers or buy papers. I found this out the hard way. There used to be an old man who lived in Willcox Arizona. Sold me a Bluetick That was said to be 3 years old. She had to be close to 10. Had my wife pick this dog up for me. She got home and I looked at her and most of her teeth where worn down to the gum line. Had papers for a 3 year old and the body of a 10 year old. Had a h-ll of a time getting my money back. Now I pick up my own dogs. Will not buy sight unseen.

You mean guys are switching papers and using them on dogs they don't belong! I wonder if there's other dogs out there with papers that don't belong to them.

Had one that come from the man it was cross eyed and very timid at 2 it still could not make a race he wanted it back for a stud I disposed of it the rite way nuff said

I would like all the hound hunters who have been F***** by Hershal to all try to contacked him one more time to get your money back... If he will not give you your money we all need to contact the UKC and informe them of Hershals miss use of the UKC papers and your personal exsperience with dealling with his so called guaranteed papered hounds.

Remember this will destroy the walker blod line if this isnt taken care of soon

Its sad to say that there are some dishonest people in this sport. The only way to buy a pup or a finished hound is to go look at it for yourself. I'd never buy a hound unless it was under the tree. I would also hunt with it for a few trips to make sure it's really what I wanted. It will really eliminate the lies that can be told and sold.

I just got a phone call from another person today that got screwed by Hershal.... they spent 700.00 and didnt even get there dog.... he just took there money and wont answer the phone, ship the dog or give them there money back.

I have no problem with dogs that dont work.. if i buy a dog and the seller tells me the terms and he stands by them, thats perfectly fine. but when they just screw you thats wrong. I have bought many dogs with no trial or not even seeing them hunt and if its a flat out sale thats fine but when u tell some one they can have there money back or trade for a different dog and they never show up and wont answer the phone thats just bs. hershal got me for 1000.00 and its not even the money that makes me madd but its the fact that he said he would make it right with me and he didnt. he just quite answering the phone..

he is breeding house walkers and i needed some different house blood. just was trying to better my breeding program. But if you turned the darn things loose it would take a week of them starving to catch them. and thats after i owned them for a year. heck i had to trap the one to get him cought. it was like hunting with coyotes.

I sent Hershal Joyner some money for 2 pups. It took him 2 years to call me back after he said that the pups that I wanted all died. Then he finally said that he got me some pups.(not the ones I wanted) Said he sent them to Utah with a fella he knew and I had 4 days to come up with the rest of the money and pick them up in Utah. He's a real winner in my book. Good luck with anyone who does business with him.

i'm sorry to hear of your misfortune, i agree there are alot of dishonest dog jockey, bullshitters,crooks,liars etc etc.i made 2 deals with guys on here and could not be happier with my majestic from cory mccoy and my big blue from tom atnip, my majestic i got as a pup drove 3500 km to get him. my big blue was just over a year old when i got him,also thanx to ray for hauling him,sorry to hi jack the post,hope you fellas get justice.

Well Bob maybe you are right I just didn't think about the benefits of buying 2 month old puppies under the tree.
