This morning I turned on a track that my dogs struck from the rig. It was a fairly good sized track and smoking hot. The race didn't last long before my dogs were treed. I got to the tree and was surprised to see three bears in a short stalky oak. I figured the least one would weigh in the 175 # neighbor hood and the biggest would push 250 #. I sat there a minute hidden watching my dogs (for any tree fighting or aggression) and noticed that all three were boar bear. As soon as I stood up all three got real nervous and started to come down (at the same time). I ran to the tree and pushed two back up but the least one got down just alittle to far and they grabbed him. He broke loose and left with the after burners lit. I could hear the dogs catch him and fight just a second and then off again. This lasted for some time before they went out of hearing. I walked around the tree and it didn't look like they were feeding on this oak but, I couldn't be 100% sure. I backed off and watched the other two come out and they both left together. They weren't running but, didn't stick around. After 2 hours I finally got to the tree and caught my dogs and left the young bear to ponder what the hell just happened. I was proud of my three, all of which are under 2 year old. But, I have wondered all day why three boars of that size would be running together. My first thought would be of course they were feeding in that tree. My second thought was could they have been siblings but, still at that size they should have seperated. Anyways, just wondering if anyone has seen anything like this.3 boars in one tree
