However I suppose it could be a juvenile belk...but I'm pretty sure those are only in Oregon...

Re: What is this?
What I assumed was the face (on the left) made me think raccoon. But no 'ring tail'. I dunno. Other thing I forgot to mention is that the hen would have had to have gotten attacked between 3:30 pm and 10pm when we noticed it missing. Sunset is around 8:10. However chickens have usually all roosted ...

What is this?
We had something get one of our chickens the night before in this area so we put a game came up there the next day. We got this that night. Whatever it is is within five feet of a pile of feathers. We have bobcats that are routinely seen within a quarter mile radius of this location. We have caught ...

Starting up a pack for bobcat
Mainly want to get into running bobcat because I can't run lion or bear here without being an outlaw. No offense intended but running em only on coons doesn't sound as exciting to me. I live within 45 minutes of Oregon so the distance not as big of a deal. But I am sure Oregon gets their share for ...

Hounds in town
Hey guys I live in a small town in SW Washington. Do you guys think I would be able to get away with keeping a pair of hound dogs there? Any tips? I have heard of people in the 70s and 80s just down the street doing it. I am sure there are some in town now I just don't know where. I see guys running ...

Are there two versions of this book? Or has there been more than one publisher / release date?

Good hunting read
Good spot for Zane gray books if you are interested is librivox.com or the app if you like audio books. Hunting the grissly if a Theodore Roosevelt book right? That is a good one. And I would have to say that I have never tried but that I will bet a roped cat is an exciting event ;)

Good hunting read
Anybody else read "The Last of the Plainsmen by Zane Grey"? Last five or six chapters is vintage cat hunting with dogs around the Grand Canyon. Awesome read ( or listen, as I technically did the audio book)
