The reason the dogs are so spread out is because we have two lions in different trees.
The two Walkers in the first two pictures are half brothers out of Topper.

Here's another way to look at it. Whats the difference - hunting with hounds or a birddogs. All hunters should stand and fight.

Steve, Wish I was young and full of it.Wish I would have started this when I was only in my teens or twentys. Im now 50, and thinking what the hell am I doing chasing these dogs all over the mountains.

Not to be an ass but you guys are lucky no one was hurt and not just by the cat. Some things to think about before you go crawling in to those holes, is loose rock in the back (ceiling) and ribs (walls). Also there could be bad air or poison gas. JUST SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT! But that was cool.

My dad told me a story about a hunt that him and my grandfather were on years ago when something simular happened. It was at night also. I don't remember what they were hunting, but they turned the dogs out and shortly after, the whole pack came back all hackled up and their tails between their legs ...

Ya, found a wolf kill the other day ,wear at least 3 wolves killed a deer .All thay ate was the liver and a littel of its ass.Then moved on to kill another.

Just got my Shilo dog back from Jason. I sent her to him for a couple of months so we could get a jump on our season. She looks great and is in the best shape she has ever been in.
She even got to see some cats and that is going to help us out alot. Jason even went out of his way to meet my daughter ...
