I got a older male that has the same thing especially in his tail thought he might be crossed with something. He is about 2 years old now and acting like he will turn out real good.

No I think it would unless the dog chew it off. I use straw alot cheaper and my family has a ton of it so i can keep it fresh. Although that might be hard to keep it in a barrel I think the spray on is a good idea give it a try.

Thanks northern idaho is a beautiful country I have a friend that is going to school in moscow and was able to go try and stick a turkey.
