Boy, you're right about it being a big place. I went to Fredricksburgh yesterday to pick up a new dog. Left out at 4 a.m. and got back at 11 p.m....20 hours of driving I was beat! I live in the RUSK, JACKSONVILLE area...Valerie

What part of texas are you from? I am from east Texas and though I wouldn't call them plentiful, we do have some Bobs and mt lions around here.

If you notice the pedigree on some of Veronica's dogs you will see Chancelor's Amos....that's my dog. I ordered him straight from Roberta Kuester, one of the last litter's they whelped for the public, I don't know if they bred some for personal use later. Their son was a hunter also.

We ordered a male from Kuester's about 8 years ago and still breed occasionally. we have about 8 adult dogs...love those old fashioned black and tans.

Oh lord have mercy that's a gorgeous pup! Man o man. I've got a kennel full but I'd make room for that one!

Don't know where you are in Texas, but we do have a few cats here in east Texas. My husband used to really get onto his dogs if they got off of a coon and onto a cat track. They were mostly bobcat but some of the guys game cameras have caught a few mountain lion coming into their feeders.
