agreed small dogs get thru thick stuff easier,ive seen more dogs get grabbed from having too many dogs in their way,in the case of a charge.Where i run i need a well put together hound big or small with athletism.

are you running bear or rabbits lol if a 100lb bear can get thru the brush why cant a 70lb hound.The bear broke the trail.

Walmart plastic snowboards.They are light and inexpensive.We move bobhouses,or should i say bob mansions on and off the lake with them.

Ever thought about singling them out.You may have one amping the others up on trash.I run mine solo till i know each dog.Shock collar is definately a good idea.Mine learn what no means.They put their nose in a trash track, they hear NO.They dont leave it, I tone then shock.Most important part single ...

A friend of mine lives in Tuftonboro N.H. all he runs is english on bear.They do a nice job he catches alot of bears.

Tone when you call him.If he ignores you put it on one.As soon as he starts coming put it back to tone.Remember to pet him up for coming to you.Biggest mistake i see collar isnt tight enough.I got a 5 yr old pen beagle did not come in.In 3 evenings i had him coming in.With difficult dogs a treat ...

Only dog i have is a female walker. Her breeding goes back to dohoneys boone and robin on top and bottom.Closer on the bottom.Ninety percent of the time she can do the job by herself.Decent grit,real good tree,best qualities trail ability and speed.

I found its not what but how its cooked.Have some smoked and try it.Almost seems like you have to cook it and then cook it again.

My bluetick,was the craziest hound i have run with.He couldn't trail to save his life,all he had to do was keep up with my female walker.When a bear grabs a dog they generally turn and get out of the way.Not Blue, he would go head to head or rather tooth to tooth.Watched a bear jump out of a tree ...
