i have three bear rugs now and was wondering if it was legal to sell one .i live in pennsylvania and the one i want to sell was shot in 1989.

i think that whole running them on yotes ruins them for cats thing sounds funny to me cause the best yote dog we own is a july hound and when she cuts a cat track first watch out she can put the heat on a cat any day and has even been known to show up some of those high dollar cat hounds

I have a goodman / running walker and he is what i use for my jump dog works real well and hates coyotes.

coyote howls mainly just to narrow down to a block of woods or certain section the coyote serenade usually works the best for me

i got a litter on accident out of two bread eaters but had decent bloodlines on top and bottom so i kept the one male and its the best hound i own.

In my experience mountain hunting is more chasin less killin its usually 50/50 they might circle or you might hit a ridge runner and end up in no mans land where there are no roads and your finding dogs for the next day or two but on the other hand we always get a chase when we hit the mountains

locate them with calls at night and hit em in the morning and mid summer find those dens chase those coyote pups at night or early morning dont shoot them they will usually stay in that area to chase another day

saturdays chase shot this 46lb male about a hundered yards in front of my male dog we mainly hunt central pa havent had snow for about two weeks

i hunt in pa also snow just makes it easier i just caught one a week ago on dry ground just hit those hot spots.
