With the use of GPS collars it would be easy to see who is doing what. I don't have a dog in this fight, but why is Joel making the rules. Brent said he would put up $10,000 and barrow Larry $10,000 to bring anything he has and hunt against Bones, a 10 year dog. Cobalt has bowed out of the competition. All I can say is Bones better be bad to the bone. Taking a 10 year old and hunting him against a 5/6 year old male is ballsy.

Good luck to the both of you!

what is this 6 or 7 dog crap? Like catch said i thought it was about bones and my stud? If bones needs six more to help him then I'm sure not interested. Lets do it in Id so we don't have to worry about bones havin so much backup then and we can get to the meat of the whole thing. No smartass reply here, just think for an unrealistic 10k things oughta be done right. there's some pretty rough country in Id that i have seen, or we can do it in the park too, just as long as its in a place where bones doesn't need so much backup, or is that why you wanna do it in WA?

I feel like i started all this with my mike kemp coment. I would like to apologize to all on the subject, especially nessplott your question was about the best stud dog. I'm sorry that everything got off subject it was not my intention to start a mud slinging contest. i dont know larry but sounds like he has the cred to play and i know brents dogs are game so maybe this contest will give a better idea. I think there will always be someone out there that has better stock in thier and their buddy's eyes, that is why our sport is so great. The comradere and joy that comes with it is worth it. nobody's going to agree on the best but i think we all agree on the future of or sport we need to stick together to fight the antis. next time I'll keep my mouth shut sorry again

man you guys are looking for an excuse arent you. how could you pass up a deal like that after you talk shit about somebodys dog you have not even hunted with. could be a easy $10000. larry you been talking shit to people on here as long as i have been on this forum. now is a good time to show people you really are not talking out your ass like everybody thinks. and you might come out with $10000 out of the deal. cobalt you are the one who started this when kelsie was just saying a nice word about a couple of dogs someone owns. now when someone calls you out, you back out. your are a shit talking pussy. as far as WA as the place to hunt, because it is some ruff country with bad bears where they hunt. that way you could test every dog in those conditions so there is no excuses. larry you said cobalt was catching in that "rough" CA country, this WA country is not anything like CA, lot tougher where those permits are. even in CA cobalt how come brent is catching 5 times you guys are in the same spot with a bunch of 1-2 year old dogs out of those three mentioned stud dogs. guys like you two are all the same, talk shit then make excuses or run and hide.

Keep beating around the bush Larry. I have seen Brents dogs in action and I wouldn't take the bet either.

I have never spoken to Mike Kemp but I have hunted with several dogs out of his breeding. They were some of the best dogs I have hunted with and I have hunted with hundreds of different dogs.

I was so impressed with Brents dogs I put in an order for one. He has some top notch dogs and he knows how to hunt them.

Best stud dog is about consistanly making good pups. Both these guys are doing that.

Larry should shut his mouth and start kissing Brents ass right now. Then he might get the opportunity to own a dog from some excellent breeding practices.

Bones doesn't need any help in any country, I can personally vouch for that. But to prove a good stud dog, his pups have to prove themselves too. That would be my interpretation as to the increased number of dogs that Joel mentioned. The 10k is only unrealistic if your afraid of loosing, otherwise... what have you got to loose? NOTHING, but you do have 10k to gain, right!? Washington is the place to do it... take it or leave it. The deal is fair.

Do you have 6 or 7 hounds? Most people that just chase lions don't keep that many hounds. Is that why you want to do it in Idaho, so catch can throw in his 4 hounds and then you have a pack? Or did you get extremely lucky and drew a non resident hound hunter permit and your just itchin to use it?

wow. I guess to play this internet hunting game ya have to check in every couple min. Those were the answers I thought we would see. As far as im concerned thats it on my end. Cobalt I would still like to know how Johnny helped Brent. As for you Larry even the 10yr old kids that look on here can figure out your a coward. And for as to why Wa. its because no one needed to draw, the hunts start soon and your there for one reason, kill a pile of bears. Smiley I too have hunted all over Wa, Id, and Ca. I hunt other permits in Wa also that is much easier ground. These paticular permits are as bad as it gets, thats how I got them a few years ago. No one wanted them and those that had hunted them couldnt get the bears stoped and killed within the boundrys. I cant do it on a regular basis either. I put Brent on these permits and that changed. Well thats it for me so Larry go ahead and talk all the shit you want because this was my one and only go round on this welfare board. Just remember your branded for life now. As far as the money thing goes the number was so high more than likely so no one would take it . I bet Larry would be willing to go dog for dog .
Just remember most people do not have 10K laying around and to ask someone to play with money they do not have is ridiculous .
I am all for calling bullshitters out and seeing good dogs .

Smiley as far as the money thing goes larry should have no problem gathering up 10k, you would think with all the people that were embarassed for Bones they would know this a sure bet for larry to win, maybe he can go to the bank and take out a short term loan, can you imagine what this would do for his credit score, paying the loan off in just two weaks, also if you have been to my website and seen my foresale page, you will se that i offer anybody to come stay in my camp and watch these dogs work, if you dont like what you see ill give your deposit back and buy your gas, as to date I have not had to buy any gas or refund any deposits, as far as were we hunt at in washington if colbalt and big mouth wouldnt have shit backwards they could have given you a detailed map. Remember i also offerd to loan the money to larry dearest.
