don't think theres a whole lot of bare ground cliffs, bluffs, and mountains that look like boulder piles in WI catnbear, you better stick to the flatlands rolling hills and trees.

or you could come down here and I will even pay your grey hound fare but you better bring cash and a lot of it. I will even pay for your out of state tag.
However we know this is not going to happen and you still feel the need to puff out your chest so from this point on unless you are going to put your money where you mouth is.... leave me out of this pointless arguement with you. My dogs run well here and yours may there but this topic was about walkers and plotts on lion, so bring it or leave it.

NM plott, I dont even like you, why the hell would I want to hunt or spend one second with you???. Your not my hero, I've got enough friends, and plenty of states to hunt, I cant get to now. Its really simple, like your turf, these dogs was raised here, and Right now, I've got a male perhaps the best of my life, that is Jumping over 95 percent of the bobs put down on, a sample of how big on the form, the pics,of a couple of decent cats, which you seem to not have any???. And other then you sounding like a little spoiled kid, I've never rode a gray hound in my life, nor had anyone buy my way for anything, and unlike you, I dont boast about my background, and family wealth as there is plenty, and more dam land then what your bragging about. Man you got ignorent and stupid across your forehead? Answer me one question, you born that way, or you got to work at it everyday :?: :?:

Maybe this poll should be My daddy is tougher than your daddy! Lion hounds in any color are not a dime a dozen. I prefer my walkers and walker crosses on lion and bobcat are they the best hell I don't know. I like the way they hunt and the way they look they fit me. They say a dog resembles their owner. By the looks of things I would say yes.

Calm down cat and bear, I can't belive the hypocrasy that is going on here. this dude had the nearve to lecture me on how we represent all houndnsmen and our conduct on here should be kept classy. the reason he lost bear hunting in his state was that hound guys were like me and had no class and so on. now look at the argument your caught up in here. my dog is better than your dog with a 5 year old twist. this dude even tried to get me banned from the forum for my conduct. looks like it's time to take your own advise that you gave me and clean it up so everyone can enjoy. remember you represent us all.

and as for you nmplott, oh well your a plott guy you already have enough problems without me railin on ya.

I've 93 years hunting experience with hounds, 70 of those years with walkers, the rest with plotts. I averaged 170 cats a year with walkers, but 723 cats a year with Plotts. I think this will clearly show which is the better hound when it comes to lions, let's not even talk about bear.   :beer :beer :beer Oh, and I no longer had any vet bills.

My daddy is tougher than your daddy, my wife is prettier than your wife, my penis is bigger than your penis, and my dog is better than your dog  :agmnt You guys need to grow up and stop acting like little girls. Also lets stop the plott bashing I like and hunt plotts I also like and hunt walkers as I said before they both bring something to the table. Also getting sick of the calling into my character because of a breed of dog I may or may not hunt. If you don't like a certain breed or strain within a breed thats your prerogative, but dont go being derogrative towards me and others who choose to hunt with something you choose not to, it tends to make a person defensive. This is not the only thread with plott bashing. As for the tree fighters and box fighters I have seen it with all breeds. I personally will not put up with it. So lets share info to make us all better hounds men/women or keep your mouth shut if all you have to say is something negative. Not saying somethig negative can't be somethig positive if said in certain circumstance and said a certain way.

Well I didnt say or see a thing about my daddy stuff, other then Nm plott insults about a gray hound ticket, and license, and because I didnt like him, I would charge him to see the pics of the lion, i have to dig out   Right away, he is donald trump   That would tick off the pope himself. For those of you that know me, one thing I dont do is lie, and can back up anything i have done or said hunting. I've never mentioned any of my background or families background on this site, never, once. probably to serious, but not going to listen to a spoiled bratt either. I'm not colored blind, have hunted most colors, and respect any breed, or mutt that does combo, cats and bear, in thick area. There not on every corner, that fits us here, not just speaking for myself. And if you folks, can honestly say, you have that type of dog, that works, I'm open minded and would give one a try, I'm pretty picky, but open minded. I have tried several, got some dry ground hoppman stuff now, and a old time trigg bitch breeding. I'm looking for an outcross, and have pups on the ground of both dogs, to determin if I want them in my future, for line breeding after willy is gone. These dogs are about 7/8 walker, right now, I call them mutts, as alot of the background is registered dogs, which i dont register, never did kill any game with the papers   And for you plott boys, i got a young plott female the last of my grandfathers dogs, which has a walker grandmother and great grandmother. The late Larry mckenzies stuff on the other side, as good of bred dogs as anywhere, and at nine months, every pup started on bear. Im not sure I will continue the combined line, as I like a different dog and style. She is here If I choose, or if i met a decent plott guy, that was wanting to continue, I might work something out, as their is centimental value in her also. And if you got a billy goat, that gets the job done, hell I would even try that, if it catches game better then these dogs, and reproduces   Looks like, I'm settled in for what I'm hunting for the rest of my life, there is a lot of work in this line, but always open, to a good line of dogs, love to watch them work.

those that know me know I am a man of my word. I do not need to prove myself to anyone and if you want see what my dogs can do you know how to get a hold of me. But I will not take pictures and fuel an anti's wish by giving them something to spin and turn against me or us at that. If you want see it with your own eyes come on down.

Good deal on your dogs doing good for you. That's all that matters.

I talk to a few guys who seem to catch their fare share of lions. And they seem to know a bunch of other guys who catch a pile of lions. I never hear those guys say that you only catch lions if you've got a plott in the pack. Or that so and so has a straight plott pack and are lighting it up while the rest are spinning their wheels. Most seem to say that their lead dog is white, blue, black, red or re ticked.

I personally feel that lion hunting is about having a solid set of genetics behind the dogs and the proper training. I prefer my plotts have they been the gamiest dogs with most desire to please. I have tried a lot of different other dogs and my plotts suit me fine actually more than fine but that is what we use it works well and if it is not broken I am not fixing it. The bluetick may go up for sale but not to sure about that at this point but those plotts do not have a price tag on them as they are irreplaceable. If people have something that works for them thats great whether it came from a walker, a bnt, bluetick, english, cur or something out of the pound use what works for YOU but Plotts work for ME

Wow release, I know you catch a lot of lions but 723? When did you guys get from Japan? I talked to Yoshida three days ago and he said you guys killed a lot of bear. He wants four more pups ASAP. Two more weeks until lion season, it sound like we need to get some Mutts or Walkers to tree a Puma. Maybe we can take a trip and get some top notch cat dogs
