Trump
Re: Trump
The bottom line is the system is rigged and it has been a long time. It has been corrupted to the core and silver tongued politicians like Hillary and Ted are the kind that thrive in that corrupt environment. They are masters at playing the deception game. They are not the solution to our problems, they are the problem. Our current system is not working except for politicians and those in the shadows who fund them. Trump is threatening to their positions of power, prestige and influence within the system and that is why both parties have now joined forces to bring him down, and they will probably succeed one way or the other.

Re: Trump
Varminator,
You are spot on in your post. It is not the people voicing opinions in this post that are ignorant of what is going on in their local governments or their State governments. Knowing what the problem is is not the hard part, fixing it is. If it was that easy there would not be a problem. Mike Martell is very informed and involved in the political climate in his state and even in his local hound hunting issues, and I respect his opinions and views, but if there was an easy fix he would not be saying 90% of the hound hunters in his area were unable to discuss the politicians and politics in his local counties and then up to the State level. It is terribly hard to get people that are supported by the "system" to change it and that is what the politicians want to perpetuate because that is the base for their power. That is my opinion anyway. I just wish the best for this country and the young people that will have to deal with the future of it while trying to find good jobs and wages to raise their families so they prosper.

All I know is if I had treated folks and used the language that Trump uses when I was a boy, my Dad would have taken a belt to my arse...Come to think of it, if my boys behave as he does, I would have taken a belt to their arse.

Re: Trump
States have the constitutional power to override federal overreach ...
If they will use it.
I'm at a great point in life...I'm looking in the rear view mirror and represent the past, not the future...I fight for future generation youth hound hunters (why?) and welcome them to step up and support their hound hunting heritage.....Most don't get it or care, for that matter, neither do most older hound hunters in Oregon, you don't attend meetings in Salem or belong to our Oregon State Hound Association or hound clubs, if you all voiced an opinion in Salem like you all do on BGH when it comes to bobcat hunting, it would change the climate...
All I know for sure is, I see damn few hound faces in Salem at the State Capitol! Social media doesn't solve jack shit! Try applying the same energy and passion defending your god given rights as you do posting on these hound threads and you will be a rock star! Why do you think the minority is the majority voice in America?
Obama or the next president Hillary/Trump aren't behind the push to eradicate our hound hunting in Oregon, our very own Oregon department of fish and wildlife is currently partnered with HSUS-Audubon Society to eliminate as many hound hunting activities as possible. Not many left to take away...Currently Division 044 will eliminate water races and field trials in Oregon (I don't do either, but fight for those rights) If Oregon State Government (ODFW) gets their wish, there will be an anti trapping bill on the November ballot, this will include the sale of raw furs. The draft language was written to protect ODFW-USDA by both agencies, how coincidental? The president can't tell our Sheriff's what to do in Oregon! Not sure why I care about National politics when the State I reside in is where we need to focus...I suspect the GOP will circumvent the will of the people causing the end of the GOP.......... as planned. I'm probably wrong about my predictions. Don't matter who you are or what you think? This will play out as the evil powers have it planned!
In the mean time, I'm more concerned about what's happening closer to home that WE CAN CHANGE while the liberal media creates a diversion to distract all of us, not to mention divide us further!
If they will use it.

Re: Trump
After watching the news i was more keenly aware of one of Trumps most endearing qualities to me.He causes the liberals to go into foaming at the mouth convulsions. How could anyone have a different opinion than what they have ?lol
On occasion when there's a ballot measure or candidate that i'm not sure how i want to vote i look at who's for or against them .If the democrats support them, rightly or wrongly ,i vote against them or vice versa .
We are running out of time to rebuild the moral foundation of the old America.
I have some concerns about Mr Trump but i believe he is much better than Hillary who will accelerate the decline of this great nation.

Re: Trump
I will vote for Trump over Hillary any day but I am more than ready to see him act "Presidental". Maybe I was raised differently, but I was taught to treat people the way that I want to be treated. I am very aware that he is not a kid but then in many ways, that makes it worse as he should know better.

Re: Trump
You guys probably don't want me showing up at the Trump party any more. Just let me know.
Mike, I admire your involvement, but I hope you are not Saying Obama has had little or no impact on local life in the USA. You say local government can control federal govt overreach with their constitutional power? Well, Obama has the constitution printed on his toilet paper so every day he can practice his contempt for it before he flushes it down the toilet. That is, unless he can twist it into saying something it doesn't in order to decorate his agenda.
He will probably leave some of it there for Trump to use, so Trump can read it for his first time before he also flushes it down the toilet.
You guys want a strong armed hero. Well we already have it. It is called "The Truth" and you can find it in the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution and The Bill of Rights.
I am not a Cruz fan. I am a fan of eternal truth with which Trump has not even a passing interest in, except to pretend he does when the question is asked.
I noticed the leader of your Cruz haters club, John Boehner, gave you guys your voice. John Boehner is friends with Trump, plays golf and texts with him. He gives compliments to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed. He gives compliments to Obama, and he is the champion of the castrated Republican Party. Months ago he joined you in calling Cruz a "JackA$$", for shutting the government down. Now he says:
"I get along with almost everyone" duh! Especially if their name, party, or agenda has the word "Obama" associated with it!
"I get along with almost everyone,"say Boehner, "But I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life." Then he goes on to say he Cruz is "Lucifer in the flesh".
To which Satanists in the government are taking offense to.
So there you go guys. You have a voice in government. Join the rest of Washington with hating the only one in government that has and will stand up to them with an astounding knowledge and understanding and passion for the founding documents that define freedom.
It is hard for me to see you all so easily repeat Trumps' mind control repetitive programming.
Get a clue.
Trump has clearly told you he is a New York Liberal through and through. In his own words he has told you he was immersed in it when he was born, immersed in it as he grew up, and immersed in it all his adult life. He has clearly told you that his every day decisions, (which are many for a president), will be clearly informed by his liberal core. He tries to espouse conservative values, and that is why they always sound like a liberal trying to espouse conservative values for effect and manipulation of conservatives. He is a deceptive con. And you will find that out if he becomes president.
The good news is, that although Trump is a deceptive con man, God is not. And he can use those who are to accomplish His purposes. If His purposes are to spare America, he can use Donald Trump to that end.
I agree with the man who said "repent, and pray". Trump can not save us. But there is one who can.
Why would He?...

Re: Trump
As anyone, Trump can be picked apart for something he say's or does now days. But I would rather listen to somebody that says it like it is, rather than somebody "Acting" presidential by standing there like a robot reading a scripted speech. JMO!

Re: Trump
"Says it like it is..." I interpret that to mean "America would rather listen to someone tickle her ears with the sweet nothings she likes to hear than to give her a hard and fast eternal principle."Varminator wrote:As anyone, Trump can be picked apart for something he say's or does now days. You are right. Cruz would never fit in spittin and chewin with the boys at the west coast gathering. I have encountered minds like his, and they never fit in, they never feel like one of the boys. They are strange and awkward and don't really know how to be warm. They will say things that make me feel insulted, even though they don't mean it that way. And that is Cruz.
He has an "audio graphic" memory. Meaning he can repeat word for word something he hears. His mind may go beyond that of any mind in politics today, and may match the minds of some of the founding fathers who understood the eternal truths that bring and protect freedom.
I feel embarrassed that America is rejecting this man because he is awkward.
Re: Trump
I guess i have just always had a problem with puppets. In every aspect of life. I dont want a president to act presidential i want one to BE presidential and to me that means MAKE SHIT HAPPEN!!!!!! This warm fuzzy talk and feeling has sure been working good for us now hasnt it?
Re: Trump
If Trump is the nominee, I will be voting FOR him. (With fear and trembling, because I have never voted for a liberal). But He will bring out the negative vote like never before. A win against the socialists will not be easy to accomplish when they will be so highly motivated to come out and vote against Trump, although he is the second choice for some Bernie supporters (if that doesn't tell you something).
It will be interesting, to say the least.

Don't feel bad David, you weren't the only Cruz supporter here I'm sure. And I would've voted for him myself if had be. I won't go on about what I don't like about him. I don't like to type that much or tell people how dumb they are for voting for him. Just saying!
