Re: Oregon bobcats
You guys need wolves on the Oregon Coast to get rid of your coyotes. Mack if you are going to hunt bare ground on the coast make sure your dogs are coyote broke. There coyote population is of epic proportions. For us guys hunting in wolf country we don't have near the opportunity to break our dogs off coyotes.

Are the wolves eating the coyotes

Re: Oregon bobcats
davidg1 ,Wolves are territorial and will kill other canines that invade their domain.
They've filmed a 100+ pound wolf running a little 40lb coyote down and killing it on more than one occasion. That's why they're so dangerous to hounds.
If i had a choice between coyotes and wolves i'll keep the coyotes.

Re: Oregon bobcats
Ya wolves are hard on coyote populations. My post was meant as a joke any hound guy would rather have coyotes than wolves
