I have two uchtman blue tick females that I started last winter. One was on 10-15 lion trees the other was on three. The one was using her nose and treeing the other was going good and making the trees and treeing. Both dogs have papers if you want them. I would take $150 each or $250 for both ...

Re: UCHTMAN/HAMMER

I have two females with similar blood lines. I had a gal trade them to me for some hay this fall. Anyway I have had them on about six or so lions and they have been making trees, one trees well when she can see the lion. They have basically been just dumped out with my dogs, but the last two cats we ...

Re: Bloodhound as a cat dog?

I have a blood hound that Leo Dollins wanted me to hunt and try his nose against his plotts. He was slow to get going but once he figured it out he does real well. He is not the fastest dog but he is always at the tree and he does good on bay-ups. He also trees really well. Leo said he was ...

double up your tracking collars?

I was wondering how many guys are using both the radio/and garmin collars. We have some rough country and wanted to know if you trust the garmin enough to not use radio collars with them.

They were born I believe in july of 09 (i would have to look at the papers to make sure) I have been taking them lion hunting ...

Re: i quit

The game dept, does infact use hounds for depredation in wa. I ran quite a few bears last summer, and strongly feel that maintaining a good relationship between the dept and honest no b.s. houdsmen who obey the law is the only way to get our hunting back. Or atleast to give us the chance to run a bit.

Re: How many lion treed in a season

When I was in Idaho, I wanted to get a quota on females. It pissed me off when I would catch a female and someone would follow my tracks it and turn out on her and kill it after i left. I hunted hard in Idaho and never treed more than 10. Plenty of bobs though. We have caught 12-or 13 since dec 1 ...
