I am not sure what the confusion is.

bloodlines says the same thing this flyer says....Ukc ft, wr, bs deadline is at 3pm on saturday the 18th.

i spoke to george after you did. i pulled out my july 2007 cbl, and it is written correctly. the only confusion could be it says battle ground and the field trial is being held at jones pond outside matlock which is closer to olympia. the driving directions are to the pond. there is no address to battle ground, anyway.

there are non-ukc events starting in the morning like the flyer says. i have never seen any ukc things scheduled on a sunday, but there will be non-ukc events on sunday at jones pond.

i hope this clears things up for you. call me or george if it doesn't. i can't help explain auctions or how field trials work, george can. i can tell you how to get there and when it is! i plan on being there in august and look forward to meeting you.

sincerely, libby

ps nora, i sent you a couple e-mails. let me know if you haven't gotten them.

What a good event.

Thank you Libby for having me be the BSJ. I think that was the best group of hounds I have seen :D in Wahington in a long time. It was great to see some of my old friends and shoot the breez with them for a wile.

Treeing Walkers it was very nice to meet you in person. You have a very nice hunting set up. Like the truck and dog box.

Libby, you tell Holly That she can cook up a one heck :D of a burger. That was great.

I hope you get some of those pictures up. You dont have one of us in the back of the truck in the  DOWN POOR  of the day do you. :?:    A little ( LOT ) of rain never put a stop to a event in the NW before.

Tell Jorge he did a wonderful job.

Thanks Bluegirl. It was good to meet you as well. That last water race there was a close one. I guess I have to settle for 3rd line and 3rd tree as you took my 2nd place spot.

 Sorry. I did not even know what place he got. I saw all the dog together and just though I would get what ever I got. He likes to swim. Hope your new pup works out for you, that was one LONG drive.

George brought the paper work over tonight because I forgot to sign it AGAIN...even with Nora reminding me to sign the BS papers

Thanks for coming out Nora and being the BSJ (PM me who the heck treeing walkers is I can't figure it out...lotta walkers there! LOL) Nikki for bringing the trophies again, Andre, Jared and Tyler for laying drags, Molly for cooking, Bob and Drew for working hard on the water race mechanics, the ladies from Olympia Club (Abigail, April, Kelly and Colleen) for pitching in all over where needed, and especially George for just generally busting his butt so it would all happen.

It was a great turn out, swell people and nice hounds, too.

Lets see if I can put this a gracefully as Chawn does (nope, can't...but here goes)

There were about 42 dogs on Saturday and almost 40 on Sunday for the money events...that's too early for me to be paying much attention and nothing gets written down!

UKC saw 10 registered for the water race, 12 for the field trial and 11 for the bench show.

George's WCH FCH GRCH PR Hard Workin Hoss had 1st & 1st for the CH water race and field trial

Mike's PR Fyco Banjo's Little Oly handled by Jared was the registered water race finalist

Chris's PR Farns Worth Digger Jim was the registered field trial finalist

The bench show had Black & Tans, Blueticks, Redbones and Walkers (not sure what happened to a couple nice looking English I saw earlier in the day...they were pretty enough to have papers!)

BOS male
Mandy's PR Wabash River Custom Camo (red)

BOS female
Mary H.'s PR Wyeast Walk On By (B&T)

Now some picture's:

First thing in the morning before rain:

Proof it didn't actually rain the WHOLE day...gotta get there early enough!

Yep, it rained some...

Nice Red male!!!! Somebody tell me what the breeding is!

We would have been more than happy to trade a little sunshine and heat for just a bit of your rain this weekend. (I judged a show down here -- United Houndsmen.)

Tiny really wanted to come up there with Casey, but she was supposed to come in heat at the beginning of the month. Murphy's Law says she would have come in heat 5 minutes after he got there (or entered her). Got her finished to WCh down here!!
Hope one or both of us can make it up that way soon!
