Washington Cougar Results

Post by Buddyw »

A little bird let me in on a Secret to a back door to find out if you Drew a cougar tag this year..

They don't have the Official results Published, but if you go here and look at your history.. it will at least tell you if you didn't draw for 2008..

I expect the Official results up soon..

Pacific Cat, Sounds like results should be online, I've today of some folks that drew tags and they knew which units they drew..

Check around the wdfw website and I'm sure you'll find what your looking for.

I've read through the season guide.. It is still unclear to me how to apply for a cat tag with hounds. Anyone who has done this from Washington: If you could let me in on how to apply that would be great!!

WA Cougar permits

Post by Darvin Ecklund »

Dustin-

The drawing has come and gone so you won't be able to apply until next year. I believe the deadline was in August. The best hunts are done over the internet. They have a couple on the westside but most areas are small and only give out about 1 to 2 per unit. If you need any more information let me know.

Around the middle of Aug buy a speical hunt application for cougar and submit it then. $5+ for the application. It closes around the middle of Sept, they have the drawing and you find out around the middle to the end of Oct.
