Nominations for WSCA Officers Open
If you are interested in becoming an officer for WSCA, e-mail me, libbypw@hotmail.com. Tell me what position you want, why you’d be a good candidate, and a little bit about yourself since likely there are people who won’t know much about you. I will make a page on http://wscaonline.com/ and list the nominations as they come in. I will post what you send me, but I will use only your last initial…it’s the world wide web for crying out loud, but please give me your full name.
On Monday, 03/29/10 at 7PM we will have a meeting in the Chatzy room. This is a free chat service but one must be invited to find the room. You can make your account now… It is simple: 1) Go to Chatzy http://www.chatzy.com/ . 2) Top right click ’Register’ 3) Type in your e-mail and click ’I am a new user’ 4) Open a new window and get the password from your e-mail 5) Go back to Chatzy screen and paste the password in then click enter 6) Click on ’My Account’, in the green area on the left of your screen 7) Click the bubble that allows other registered users to send you invites. Be sure to check ‘allow invites from registered users’ or you will not be able to be invited.
IMPORTANT: You must be a paid club member to be elected, vote or even talk during the meeting. If you did not pay dues at the State Championship, you aren’t a club member for this year. Please e-mail me if you paid dues at the State Championship or if you need George Martinez’s address to send a check.
We will be electing officers ONLY. The officers can then have a few weeks to get materials from previous officers and they will schedule the next regular meeting. I will be moderating this meeting tightly so the business at hand can be accomplished. Before or after the meeting, the room can certainly be used for chatting freely.
Every person who has been involved in WSCA has done a dandy job and every one else owes them a big thank you for hard work. I will delete any gripes. If you think something should be done differently, do something constructive about it or keep quiet. If you absolutely need to vent, send it to willamettered@hotmail.com I have forgotten the password to that account =)
Times are tough with unemployment, high gas prices and lots of distain towards hound hunters. The clubs in Oregon and Washington are struggling and everyone involved is tired. Lets pull together and try to preserve some organized hounding events.
If you have any questions feel free to call me or e-mail me.
Thank you,
Libby Wentz
