WSCA 2007-2008 Dates & a question...

This is what UKC has us down for:

October 6, 2007 FT and BS in Battleground at 1PM (for sure)

December 15, 2007 BS, FT, NH

January 19, 2008 BS, FT, NH

February 1 & 2, 2008 This has been our RQE in the past and may or may not be this year.

Dates may of course change, so check Bloodlines or with George or me before hand. I'll post as dates come closer.

Now the question!

There are thoughts of having Mary's Peak (OR)) and WSCA RQE's on the same weekend down at EE Wilson. Fri would be one and Saturday the other.

The idea behind this is, the turn outs are very low for both of them and this way maybe more people would travel and attend both nights. Besides, there are more hunting spots closer to the club house in Oregon.

I'd appreciate opinions on the matter from both those who it would affect and others who might have had similiar quandries and have clever ideas.

Libby, you know one or both of us will try to be there if we've got something to hunt. We prefer to go to OR rather than WA, just because it's a little closer.
In the past our females have always come in heat in Feb, so Mar worked better for us. This time around the girls are running late (just now coming in heat), so I have no idea if they'll go back to their usual Feb schedule or if they'll come-in in Mar next time.

I think that would be great. I know the Oregon RQE went great last year and the Washington did not go so well. The hunting is better. well at least better spots.

The benches will be there...I'll sing rain, rain, go away, but in western WA and OR there are no guarentees!

Not sure what will be done at the FT, we have a club meeting this Monday...Yikes, that's why I am on the computer and not getting ready to work!

they will be english redticks ukc reg some may come blue ore tri color they will be males and females i know one of the males is spoken for all redy and some the females are males will be $250 females $400.00 as that is what the penny's get for there pups ether sex but i will make the males more afordable as i like to hunt female hounds .. or trade for shockers trackng collars and sytems and guns and dimond plate dog box that wil fit 6 to eight hounds in it that will fit a tacoma with a divider 2 doors in it perferibly a box that slides in between the wheel wells of the tocama and is squered off not one that sits on the bed i want one with a floor in it also . eample if you have something worth $ i will give you the vuaule in pups 1 2 or mabe even 3 if arely want it

these pups shoud be runing and catcing by a year old with the other dogs mom started runing and treeing bobcats with the other dogs a 6 months .. most of my redtick dogs are there runing and treeing with the other dogs at 6 and 8-10 months old and are starting to look like top hounds when 1 1/2 2 yr old but then of course they are hunted a lot 4 days a week if not 5 during idaho season

pups will be born late oct erly nov... I DID NOT MAKE THIS BREEDING JUST TO SELL PUPS I DID IT TO PUT 1 dog BACK INTO MY PACK AND DOGS INTO MY BUDYS PACKS HERE IN IDAHO AND IN UTAH these pups will run what ever you traine them will make good hunting dogs if not cept on chane and shoud make good feald trial dogs bs coon drag treeing contest water race and coon comption coon hunt dogs my budys get what ever is left after you guys pick but they are paying for ther pups to i am going to pick some females to keep around for awile thus that is why 2-3 of the females are spocken for and one of the male is sold as far as i know to one of your club members

I personally would rather see a two nite Washington and a two nite Oregon RQE's and hunts makes the drives a little more worth it and ups the chances of getting more dogs qualified.
