Re: just a dream

Just to throw this in but from someone that has a first hand knowledge of the AX man BS you dont even want to drop that name when comparing shows. At least throw the deadliest catch down as a comparison, it was at least entertaining.

Loggers and Tree Fallers

I was wondering how many members on here have worked in the woods. It seems like a lot of the guys I know used to cut timber or work in the rigging in some form. Might be a perk of the career that you have the time to run hounds also.

Re: Danner Boots

So I am a timber faller and wear my Danner Pronghorns for 6-7 hrs a day all year long. I dont think that you can get a boot for under 200 bucks that will do the job that they will. You just have to expect that at some point the gore-tex will wear out and the stitching will bust. I will take that any ...

Its all worth it

Man i went out coon hunting tonight after work and for the very first time I treed a couple coons by myself. I have had dogs for about a year and a half and tonight made the whole thing worthwhile. It was a blast! I dropped the dogs and roaded them through a pretty good creek bottom road and not ...

Locked gates,private landowners and access

All around our nation these days people have to deal with their hunting country being closed to access because of gates. We have had to deal with this a lot in nw Oregon because of all of the timber companies locking their ground up most of the year and even when it is open some of these ...
